Description
Have you ever been to the London to Brighton Car Rally? Forget the cold and the rain, back in the 1960's you could have purchased a Vistascreen booklet of ten views of veteran cars in magnificient monochrome 3D to enjoy from the comfort of your sofa. Designed specifically for Vistascreen viewers or it's "clones" each booklet contained 10 double imaged, monochrome real photographs. When inserted into the viewer a 3D image could be seen. They originally cost 2/6d each booklet. The outer box remains intact and has retained it's colours. Being almost 60 years old means the box has some wear; edges and corners are rubbed. The paper folder that holds the cards is in very good condition. All the cards are present and in good or better condition. The views in this booklet are: 1901 Durkopp, 1913 Fiat, 1900 Peugeot, 1897 Benz, "Genevieve" 1904 Darracq,1907 Riley, 1912 Ford Model T, 1912 Delahaye, 1899 Benz, and 1904 De Doin Bouton. Also included in fantastic condition is a double-sided leaflet detailing the other available sets to collect. A great item for a Vistascreen collector, for someone with an interest in cars or simply for someone looking to relive their childhood.
