This Donald Duck character soap, an official piece of Walt Disney Productions merchandise, was from a recently acquired vintage soap collection which was put together during the 1970's to early 1980's. The original owner has written the date 11/2/79 on the front. Considering it is over 35 years old it has survived well. The box remains intact and strong, there is no fading or discolouration. However there is slight rubbing along edges, some creasing particularly to the lid which is also missing a flap and has a small tear. The soap is wrapped in tissue for protection. Moulded in yellow soap, it is well defined and in perfect condition. An ideal item for a novelty soap collector, for a collector of household products, a collector of Walt Disney memorabilia or a Donald Duck fan.
