A scene from the Wild West. The lonely stagecoach and it's passengers, travelling through the arid lands of the American West facing the heat and dust, Indians and dastardly groups of outlaws. The lid depicts the scene when the outlaws attack at full pace while the man riding shotgun valiantly defends. Produced by Batger & Co Ltd of London before being taken over in 1970 this item probably dates from the 1960's, possibly a little earlier, and considering it's age is in remarkably good condition. The lid remains brightly coloured here are no dents or any rust, just some superficial scratches and also slight rubbing to the edges of the lid which doesn't detract from it's vintage look. A nice item for someone interested in vintage confectionery products, a collector of vintage tins and advertising, or for someone into the Wild West genre.
