One of the endless souvenirs produced to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II way back in 1953. This particular item was made by OXO Limited. The lid has a picture of the young Queen surrounded by royal symbolism on a red background, and on the reverse is a short biography of the Queen. This has seen some heavy use over the last 60 years. It has several dents, small scratches and rubbing on the underside as well as on the inside of the lid which all adds to that authentic vintage appearance. Ideal for a collector of Royal memorabilia, a collector of OXO memorabilia, as an object in a 1950's themed room or display, or as originally intended as a decorative tin to store your OXO cubes.
