There's nothing like a good cup of tea.  This item was produced by the Mazawattee Tea company in the early 20th Century.  On the lid an old lady and child are depicted in full colour enjoying a cup of tea with the caption "Old folks at home".  The lid and body of the tin are in very good condition with no fading or dents.  Due to decades of use the gilding around the edge of the lid has partially rubbed away but this doesn't stop the intrinsic beauty of this object.  A wonderful gift for a tea memorabilia collector, someone interested in advertising and social history, as a stage prop or simply as a small decorative item.
