A clever twist on a timeless strategy classic, Try It! challenges players to form triangles instead of squares to claim territory on the grid. Preserved in remarkable condition for over three decades, this vintage 1985 release by J.W. Spear & Sons Plc is a complete, vibrant set. The original box remains strong and sturdy, showing only light, character-giving shelf wear, subtle rubbing, and minor creasing while keeping its bold retro graphics. The full instructions are conveniently printed on the underside of the lid so they can never go missing. Inside, the game is complete and in great shape, including a colourful cardboard board that shows just two small age-related creases. Combining accessible spatial reasoning with basic addition, this compact, lightweight title is a fantastic choice for family game nights, a portable holiday companion for kids, or a standout addition to any vintage board game collection. A well-preserved piece of retro nostalgia, ready for its next match.
