For those of you on holiday this book is a handy pocket sized reference book to tell you everything you need to know about the coast. Believed to be a relatively early edition this book has survived remarkable well considering it's age and the use it would have had over the decades. It still retains the original dust jacket, which is not price clipped or faded but does have a few small tears, creases and some slight rubbing. The binding remains strong. The interior of the book contains 64 coloured illustrations and monochrome photographs. There are no signs of foxing or discolouration.  Overall a great item for a collector of vintage Observer books, or someone interested in the flora and fauna of the coastline.
