Surely too good to be true a single health tonic that can cure almost anything from Influenza, Lassitude, Malaria, Anaemia, Sciatica to the dreaded Brain Fag!  This paper advertisement was salvaged from a very dilapidated road map of Britain. We are unsure of a precise age but most likely some time from the early 1930's to the 1950's.  The advertisement itself is monochrome and depicts a map of the UK split into counties with customer feedback about ailments cured.  At the base are details about Phosferine and the complaints that can be cured.  Considering this was once on the reverse of a used road map this it has survived reasonable well.  There is a fold running across the page and some blemishes that look as though they have come through from the map side.  The item is displayed in a black frame.  This item would be ideal for someone interested in medicinal matters, in mid 20th Century advertising or simply for a decorative talking point item suitable for display in any room.
