The front has an illustration depicting an old cottage surrounded by the Irish countryside. The item, as would be expected is green in colour.  Bearing in mind the age of this item, the use it had and being printed on war-time utility paper it has survived amazingly well.  There is no fading or surface blemishes apart from the initials of the original owner and a few creases which are hardly visible giving this item a great vintage look.  Displayed in a black frame this item would be ideal for someone with an Irish connection or could be used as a one off piece of decorative art suitable for any room of the house.
