The "Golden Age of Sail" is far from over. In the seas of four decades ago there were still vessels sailing the seven seas that wouldn't have been much different to those Black Beard or Nelson. This complete set of 32 cards illustrates different types from Schooner and Barque to Brigantine and Full-Rigged Ship. The pack of cards are housed in a plastic storage case consisting of a transparent lid and a red base. The plastic by it's very nature is quite brittle and can break very easily however in this case both the lid and base are in perfect condition and still hold the pack securely. Each card has a real coloured photograph of a ship along with associated data. The pack is in good condition overall with just a few cards with slight creases. The reverse of each card is blue with stylised ship. The instructions are on the back of the title card. The pack also comes with the collectors gift card and title card of a free pack. A great item for a sailing enthusiast, a collector of trump cards or vintage card games, or as originally intended as a fun, simple family game.
