Who would have known that there was such a variety of locomotive used on national  railway systems around the world. This complete set of 32 cards illustrates different types from Heavy Diesel Locomotives and High Speed Electric Locomotives to Shunting Locomotives and Electric Railcar Trains. The pack of cards are housed in a plastic storage case consisting of a transparent lid and a red base. The plastic by it's very nature is quite brittle and can break very easily as has happened in this case with both the lid and base having pieces broken off but both still hold the pack securely. The lid also has residue of a label still visible. Each card has a real coloured photograph of a locomotive along with associated data. The pack has a grubby appearance and in fair condition. With over four decades of enthusiatic play several cards have creases. The reverse of each card is blue with stylised steam train. The instructions are on the back of the title card. The pack also comes with the collectors gift card and title card of a free pack. A great item for a train enthusiast, a collector of trump cards or vintage card games, or as originally intended as a fun, simple family game.
