Tonks is as tough as it gets for children's toys. Made from sheet steel these construction vehicles were vertually indestructable unless left out in the rain when rust would take hold. This particular red and yellow dump truck, model 55010, is of the mini truck series and dates from the 1970's. In played condition the Tonka stickers are missing from the sides of the cab, the paint work is chipped but there are no dents or deep scratches and the windscreen is unbroken. All moving parts work freely. Overall considering it's age and the decades of play it is in good condition. A great item for a Tonka collector, or toy truck collector or for someone wanting to relive their childhood.
