Back in the early 1960's a teenage boy would have to occupy his time reading his favourite comic such as The Victor, and collecting the cards that were issued free with it. Depicting some of the greatest soccer and rugby teams of 1961 each of the 22 cards shows monochrome photographs of each team. The teams featured are: Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipawich Town, Sheffield United, Bury, Walsall, Peterborough United, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, The Rangers, Kilmarnock, Dunfermline Athletic, Glasgow Celtic, Linfield, Glenavon, England XV, Scotland XV, Ireland XV, Wales XV, St Helens, Wigan, England XI. The plastic wallet is intact and in good condition. Some of the cards appear to have been cropped at some stage but neither the pictures of the text on the reverse have been damaged. A great item for a trade card collector, a soccer fan or someone who collects comic related ephemera.
