First released in 1948, Scrabble has gone on to become the most famous and best loved word game in the world. This item is over 30 years old and is in fantastic condition. The box remains strong and intact with just slight rubbing along the edges and at the corners. The lid is the typical green colour with the stylised title. On the reverse of the lid are printed the instructions. On the inside the cardboard storage tray is in perfect condition. All 100 thick, ivory coloured, plastic letter tiles with circular indents on the back are present as are the four grey plastic letter racks. The game board is in an excellent clean condition. A great item for a collector of vintage games or Scrabble sets, or as a fun way for the family to improve spelling and word power.
