Description
Get a sense of Transatlantic travel aboard RMS Queen Elizabeth owned by Cunard from over half a century ago. The sister ship of the RMS Queen Mary, the RMS Queen Elizabeth was launched in 1938 and was not only the largest cruise liner at the time and for the next 56 years but also the largest ever riveted ship by gross tonnage. During the war she was the largest troopship. She was finally retired in 1968 before being replaced by the QE2. In 1972 while undergoing refurbishment in Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour she caught fire and eventually capsized.

Here we have seven sheets of pale green, writing paper that would have been available on the ship for passengers. Each sheet is in perfect, clean condition and headed with a printed, colour image of the ship along with the ship's name. A great item for a collector of Cunard memorabilia, or for a cruise ship / maritime history enthusiast.
