Forget a Sat-Nav get a map! Originally costing 6'6, this Ordnance Survey Half-Inch Map of Great Britain - Dolgellau (Sheet 116) map mounted on cloth has survived remarkably well for over 50 years. The thin card cover has retained it's colour but due to age and use there are some surface blemishes and foxing as well as minor tears and creasing but this gives an authentic vintage look. Intact when fully opened up, there are no holes or tears just some slight foxing around the fringes of the map. The colour remains vivid and overall the map is very clean with no added annotations. A great piece for someone who collects vintage maps, for someone connected to or interested in this region of Wales or for someone looking at how the Dolgellau area has changed over the decades.
