Description
The song is taken from the 1943 20th Century Fox film "The Girls He Left Behind" directed by Busby Berkeley and starring amongst others Alice Faye, Carmen Miranda, Phil Baker with music by Benny Goodman and his Orchestra. The item is greeny-blue in colour with a monochrome photographs of Alice, Carmen and Benny on the front along with details of the film. Bearing in mind the age of this item, the use it must have had and being printed on war-time utility paper it has survived amazingly well. There is no fading, but some slight surface blemishes, including the initials of the original owner, and also the slightest creasing which adds authenticity to it's vintage look. Displayed in a black frame this item would be ideal for any Benny Goodman fan, a film enthusiast or could be used as a one off piece of decorative art suitable for any room of the house.
