Aha me hearties! Have you ever wanted to live on the High Seas plundering the Spanish Main? Well you can now with this game. Considering this game is almost 50 years old it has survived remarkably well. The box is still strong and intact however there are signs of age. The corners have quite a bit of rubbing and to a lesser extent the edges, there are a few creases along with some surface damage caused by price label removal and adhesive tape. The coloured illustrations on the lid depict a treasure map and pirate scenes have not been affected by any fading. Inside, the plastic storage tray and both decorated cardboard inserts are in excellent clean condition. Considering the number of small pieces and the delicate plastic playing pieces everything has been accounted for and in great shape. The game board too is perfect. Also included are two sets of paper instruction leaflets of which one has been folded twice. This game is not suited for small children due the number of very small pieces. An ideal item for a vintage games collector, someone interested in pirates or someone trying to re-live their childhood.
