"You've sunk my battleship!" so the television advert went all those years ago - how time flies. As described an exciting Naval strategy game. Dating from the mid 1970's this has survived in remarkably clean condition. The box is strong and intact with slight creasing and rubbing at the corners and edges. Two corners have split but that's the limit of any major damage. The lid depicts a photograph of a father and son playing the game in full unfaded colour. The instructions are printed on the reverse of the lid. On the inside the plastic storage tray is in perfect condition as are both the folding plastic game boards. All the coloured plastic pegs and plastic ships are present. A great game for a naval enthusiast, for someone reliving their childhood or as a fun way to teach children grid squares and grid references.
